Oldest WW II veteran dies at 110


The oldest world war II veteran, Frank Levingston,died May 3. he was 110. reports gathered that Levingston had spent his last two days at the VA hospital in Shreveport, Louisana.

Levingston was born Nov.13,1905, one of seven children, and grew up in northern Louisiana,according to reports gathered, a search on the world war II  registry shows he serve in Europe and participated in thr Naples-Foggia campaign in Italy which lasted from september 1943 to January 1944. He was honourably dischargedfrom the Army in 1945. In December 2015,Levingston traveled from Lousiana to Washington D.C. to be part of the Pearl Harbour ceremony at the World War II Memorial and a visit to the White house. Reports gathered by BIB that Levingston was never married and had no children.
