How DSS official was Set ablaze in Delta State


Details have emerged how a school drop out in his late twenties allegedly poured fuel on an official of the Department of State Services and set him ablaze at Oghara, Delta state.

The victim Andrew Maduku, aged 43 and a father of four,is an indigene of Oghara, attached to the DSS office in Bayelsa state. And was said to have died as a result to 86 degree burns sustained from the attack.
Recounting how the incident occurred,the brother to the victim, Felix Maduku said: 'My brother assailant doused him in fuel and set him on fire,for scolding the suspect for pointing rays from a torch on his face as he walked home.

Refusing to put of the torch, my brother walked up to him and slapped him, leading to a fight between my brother and his assailant,who was accompanied by his friends.

Speaking further; he said like every law abiding citizen my brother reported the matter at the Oghara police station and was accompanied with my brother to the resident of the suspect. On sighting the Policemen, the suspect fled leading to the seizure of his laptop by the police.

On April 24, the suspect who had been stalking my brother, poured fuel on him and immediately set him ablaze, leading to the death of my brother as a result of 86 degrees of burns sustained from the incident.

Speaking on the matter, a police source at the Oghara police station said the suspect involved in the incident went into hiding, But the suspect has been arrested and is currently undergoing thorough interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Asaba. hmmm wonders shall never end o, how can one be so wicked
